Carol Hannah Runway for 2019 Bridal Gowns

Trends in Bridal Fashion for 2019

Last week Sash & Bustle hit the streets of New York City to see the newest collections and designs from our fave bridal designers. We have explored the runways, soaked in the designers inspirations and are excited to share the most prominent trends in bridal for Spring 2019! From new necklines that break the mold, capes and trains that won’t quit and textures that will make any bride feel fabulous; New York Bridal Fashion Week had it all! Take a look and see what’s on the rise in bridal fashion for 2019!

Scoop Necklines
Inspired by the ballerina, these scoop necklines danced onto the runway with grace. Paired with a simple dainty strap and a paralleled rounded back, we are loving the lines of this new romantic neckline.

Pearls
Placed on tulle skirts and sewn on to necklines, this classic stone isn’t adorning brides just in their accessories anymore! We love how designers are incorporating the pearls in unconventional ways! Even bridesmaids get a touch of pearls too!

Appliqued Skirts
We couldn’t be happier to see that designers are now bringing more appliqué’s and detail into their skirt designs. More texture ups the romantic factor in such a beautiful way, don’t you think?!

Capes and Extended Trains
More drama is never a bad thing, and we are just all heart eyes over these capes and trains!
