Do I need an appointment for Off the Rack dresses?
Yes! We operate by appointment only and have a dedicated stylist working with each bride and bridal party. We are an intimate boutique and are unable to accommodate walk-ins. You can schedule your bridal, off the rack, or accessories styling appointment here.

How long is an appointment?
Each bridal appointment runs for approximately 75 minutes. We find this is a perfect amount of time to browse the collection of dresses and get settled in the boutique for your Sash & Bustle experience. To help us make the most of your appointment, visit the Designers section of our website to see photos from our curated collection and make a list of your “must-try” designers.

What type of gowns are available in your Off The Rack appointments?
We will be selling approximately 100 gowns from our collection that are no longer available from the designer, or that we have decided to discontinue from our collection. These are sample gowns, so that means that they are not in new condition. If you buy a sample gown, expect that they’re to be minor wear and tear, hem dust or other small imperfections that result from the gown being in a bridal boutique. We will provide info on reputable dry cleaning and tailor options in Toronto upon purchase.

What sizes are available?
Most of our gowns are stocked in a size 8, 10 and 12. We find that some of our collections run true to street size, some fit a bit smaller. Most gowns can be sized down up to 3 sizes with few modifications. So, if you wear a size 4 – 10 this could be a great chance for you to go home with the dress of your dreams today!

Can I try on other gowns besides the samples on sale?
During the sample sale, you may only try on gowns marked as samples. To try on the rest of our collection, we encourage you to book another appointment on a different date.

Will I need alterations?
Yes! We will explore our Off The Rack gowns to try and find something that fits you as best as possible, but because they are gently loved, there may be some fit and aesthetic treatments that will be needed to ensure the perfect gown for you.

Do you do alterations in house?
We do not offer in-house alteration services. We are happy to provide a list of expert seamstresses in the GTA that do excellent work. We have also been working on a national and international list of recommended seamstresses for all of you out of town brides-to-be!

What sort of savings are you offering?
All sample gowns will be sold at 30 -75% off their regular list prices. 13% HST is applicable on top of all purchases, and alterations are not included.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, cash and Visa Debit. We are unable to accept regular debit or cheques. All sales are final, with no exchanges or refunds. Samples are sold as is. We will provide reputable tailors and drycleaners in the GTA upon purchase.
